I tried their breakfast burrito with sausage and it was really good. The sauce it comes with is spicy, but it's good. I think the price is worth it for the burrito. The total came out to be around $9.00. And it was really filling for me. If you decide to pay in credit card/Apple Pay, they do charge a bit more for transaction fee.
Recommendation(s):
- Breakfast burrito with sausages
Service: 5/5
Tip(s):
- They charge a bit extra if you use credit card/Apple Pay -

I had lived in the greater Los Angeles area for almost three years and I can't believe I just visited the Grand Central Market for the first time recently.
With all the different food stalls I could choose from, I chose Jose Chiquito simply because it had the shortest line and a good old greasy burger seem delicious for lunch. I didn't really like the 4% extra surcharge for any credit card purchases.
I ordered the double cheeseburger combo and it was quite pleasant. Fries were well seasoned and the burger was quite filling & delicious. While the food was good, it wasn't mind-blowingly special and not worthy of a second visit IMO.
The only thing that made me cringe was the unsanitary practices conducted by the staff here. I saw a few of the cashiers take out trash bins, only to follow up with register transactions and food handling too. They didn't wash their hands at all after handling the trash. Thankfully I got my food directly from the chef, but I can't say the same for the other guests. -

The people working here were nice, but that was the only thing good about Chiquito.
It's very standard, underwhelming Diner food, but the prices are jacked up because you're in the Tourist Trap of Grand Central Market.
Plus, I have to dock atleast two stars to any business that still uses styrofoam containers in the year 2019.

I'm giving this place five stars for one thing and one thing only... THE BREAKFAST BURRITOS!!!! It's honestly the best BB I've ever had in LA. I crave it pretty often and come just as much. I usually get one with sausage and bacon, as well as avocado. The salsa they make is great on top of this. It's both tasty and a little spicy. It's just the best thing. Their fries with seasoning on it is also pretty tasty! I've never tried anything else here except for this so I can't say what else is good but it seems like they do breakfast/ diner food pretty well.

Pancakes, eggs and bacon was my Order. Pancakes where left behind. They are supper thick. This makes the syrup harder to observe it. I am not a picky eater especially when I order on a budget. But I hope they look in to their pancakes recipe. The eggs and bacon where great by the way.
